Venessa's Baby Shower

This weekend was Venessa's baby shower. Her baby is due in July, almost exactly a month before Mia's 1st birthday. It was lots of fun celebrating with Venessa. We went with a pink and brown theme and had lots of fun decorating. Mother's Day at the Brookfield Zoo

Today Mia and I celebrated Mother's Day a day early with my mom. We went to the Brookfield Zoo along with my aunt. The weather couldn't have been more perfect-there wasn't a cloud in the sky! Mia also got to go on a carousel for the very first time with her grandma and aunt. Mia loved the animals of course, and we were all exhausted on the way home!

Yesterday Jen and Mike came over with Noah to give Cort his birthday presents. Mia hasn't had a chance to hang out with Noah lately, so it was nice for them to have a chance to play.

Shopping and Softball

This weekend Jen and I celebrated Mother's Day a little early and took my mom to the outlet mall in Aurora. We shopped, had lunch at Red Star Tavern, and had a great time.
