Before Cole came, I wondered about what Mia's reaction to Cole would be. Would she be jealous? Would she be nurturing and a good helper? Would she be both? Turns out she has been more of a nurturing, good helper than anything. She really seems to enjoy being a big sister to Cole and helping us out when needed (or trying to help). Here are some cute things Mia has been doing with Cole...
--When we gave Cole a bath the other day, she sang to him in an effort to quiet him since he was very unhappy to be bathed.
--She has given up her Leo twice to Cole-once when he was crying in his carseat and once when he was asleep in the swing-too sweet!!
--She is very attentive (if not too attentive) to giving Cole his pacifier (which he really doesn't want half the time). We have corrected her a bit on this and now more than anything, she will hand it to me if she sees it laying around.
--If I am feeding Cole and need a burp cloth and ask her, more often than not she will get me one.
--She likes to pile burp cloths and blankets on Cole, especially when he is in the swing. She covered him completely the other day with a burp cloth and seemed very proud of herself. :)
--She will help me burp Cole. She learned this from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Goofy Baby Episode-I know some of my mom friends will know what I am talking about). She will say "Top, top, bottom, bottom, middle, middle, middle)
--If ever I come downstairs in the morning without Cole because he is sleeping upstairs (Cort normally is up with Mia earlier), she will be very concerned and ask "Baby Cole??"
--When we change Cole on the pack and play changing table she likes for us to pull up a chair next to it so she can be a "helper."
--She likes to rub Cole's head and give him kisses.
Here are some pictures of Mia in action...

What a sweet girl she is! (Love the Baby Goofy burping!)
I am so nervous about Evan with the new baby, so this really was good to read!
