We're Back!!

We are back from the Dells and we had a great time! We left for the Wilderness Resort on Sunday morning and returned Tuesday afternoon. Mia did pretty good in the car for the most part-she needed some convincing at times to take a nap, but for the most part, she entertained herself with books, toys, and looking out the window.

When we got there on Sunday afternoon, we couldn't check in until 4 p.m. (my only complaint about the Wilderness is the late check-in and early check-out). We had known that ahead of time and had packed our pool bag, so we headed to one of the waterparks and got changed in the locker room. After spending about an hour or two there, we called and our room was ready, so we got our keys and went to check it out.

It was awesome! We decided to stay in a 2 Bedroom condo at The Glacier Canyon Lodge. It was so nice to have a room for us, a room for Mia, a living room with a fireplace and bit flat-panel TV and a kitchen. Cort was ready to move in. :) We had brought a bunch of food with us so we didn't have to eat out all the time and so we could also make dinner one of the nights we were there. Here are some pictures of our condo (I didn't get a pic of Mia's room-she was napping):

Our days were nice and laid back. Basically we would wake up and eat, go and play at the arcade and giant play area, nap, eat, hit the waterpark, nap, eat, hit the waterpark, and bed. Not bad! Our favorite waterpark to go to was the Wild West Waterpark. It had a lot to offer for kids Mia's age. She loved going down the slides, both alone and with Cort-she is one brave girl! She also loved just chilling out with me in the wave pool on one of the innertubes.

Mia also went on this slide by herself-on her tummy though

Mia loved these swings

With Dad and Mom-notice the lovely cheesy smile we are geting these days?
