On Saturday we went to Clow airport in town for their Cavalcade of Planes. There were tons of planes and cars to be seen, a fire truck, ambulance, little freebies, etc. Mia liked seeing the planes and helicopters take off and land every couple of minutes. But the true highlight for Mia was meeting Officer McGruff. I think she really thought he was a real dog. Either way, she was amazed and excited by him and wouldn't stop staring and smiling at him.
It was super-hot and windy, so after we checked out the planes, we went over to Wendys for lunch with Sarah, Ian and the kids, and Andy and Samantha to cool off.

Looks like you guys had fun! We tried to go to that too but couldn't make it work this weekend.
